When we say “Leave the planning and driving to us,” we mean it! Our staff and volunteers carefully curate a variety of day trips—ranging from arts and cultural events to sports games, scenic hikes, food tours, nature walks, seasonal festivals, and more.

Travel in comfort aboard our 24-passenger van, where the journey is just as fun as the destination. The smaller group size makes it easier to connect with fellow travelers and share the adventure.

Our Trips & Tours office is located on the first floor of the Olympia Senior Center. All trips are open to both members and the general public—plus, members enjoy special discounts!

Anchors Aweigh! A Day of Naval History

Immerse yourself in naval history with a waterfront adventure in Bremerton. Begin with a guided tour of the USS Turner Joy, a historic destroyer where you’ll explore the ship’s decks, cabins, and control rooms while learning about life at sea. Afterward, enjoy a scenic 3-4 block walk to Anthony’s Restaurant for lunch together on the Bremerton waterfront. After lunch, enjoy another 3-4 block walk to the Puget Sound Naval Museum, where interactive exhibits and historic artifacts bring the region’s maritime and naval heritage to life.
