Headquartered in Olympia and overseeing two senior activity centers, this position is salaried exempt at 40-50 hours per week with some special event work required. The Activities Director is responsible for collaboratively ensuring the Activities program provides high quality accessible, recreational, educational, fitness and enriching social activities at both the Olympia and Virgil Clarkson Lacey Senior Centers. The Director leads and supports staff in creating a united positive environment at both centers, ensures that all seniors feel welcomed, valued, and included. Senior Services for South Sound is looking for a dynamic Activities Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operational functions at Virgil Clarkson Senior Center, located in Lacey. This exciting opportunity is hourly, non-exempt at 40 hours per week with some special event weekend and evening work required. The Coordinator serves as the primary liaison in customer service and safety for the senior center to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment for all members, volunteers, and visitors. The Coordinator ensures that scheduled events are executed within the planned timeline, ensures volunteers are recruited, onboarded, scheduled, and trained, and ensures class registration, donations and memberships, fee processing and database management is accurate. In addition, the Coordinator oversees and supervises all the Hospitality, Admin, Resource Ambassadors, and Reception volunteers at the center.

Senior Services for South Sound is looking for a strategic leader of finance responsible for all financial management, accounting, and compliance functions. Reporting to the ED and working closely with senior management, and staff, this role ensures short and long-term financial stability, maintains transparent reporting, and oversees the fiscal health of the organization. In collaboration with the ED, program directors and managers and the Board, the Finance Director prepares annual budgets and staffing plans, prepares and briefs staff and finance committee on monthly financial statements, manages payroll and tax payments, schedules and coordinates the annual audit, prepares contract reports, budgets and billing, and supervises the fiscal assistant.
