The PALS Fund helps low-income seniors pay veterinary bills for their beloved animal friends. From preventative care to emergency procedures, the fund provides much-needed support for seniors who simply cannot afford the rising cost of vet care. In 2023, thanks to the support of 245 individual donors, The PALS Fund helped more seniors than ever before! In all, we paid out $79,110 to 41 vets to assist 208 seniors with care for 231 pets. This year, we hope to do even more!

Do you need help paying for pet care?

To be eligible for pet assistance you must be age 60 or over, live in Thurston or Mason County and meet the program's guidelines to qualify as low income. Visit our PALS Pet Assistance Fund resources page for more information about receiving benefits. We want to help. Please note funds are limited and will be awarded while funding lasts
