Walk With Us to End Alzheimer’s
This Saturday, join Senior Services for South Sound as we walk to End Alzheimer’s!
There’s no fundraising requirement to participate on our team. Simply showing up matters. Whether you walk the full route or come out to cheer on the sidelines, we’d love to have you there as we show our support for those living with Alzheimer’s, their families and caregivers.
Event Details:
Saturday, September 26
Heritage Park in Downtown Olympia - Meet us at the Olympia Senior Center at 9:00 am to walk to the event as a team (optional).
Registration: 10:00 am
Ceremony: 11:00 am
Walk begins: 11:30 am
The full walk is 1.79 miles around Capitol Lake and takes approximately 40–60 minutes. The route is completely flat and paved.
Want something shorter? You can turn back before the bridge instead of completing the full loop, making your walk approximately 0.25 miles.

Step 1: Visit Our Team Page

Step 2: Register
On our page, select “Register.”
Step 3: Complete Your Registration
Fill in your participant information and follow the prompts to finish registering.
Remember: You do not have to raise money to walk with us. Fundraising is welcome, but your presence and support are just as meaningful.
Step 3: Come Walk With Us!
That’s it! Join us Saturday morning and look for the Senior Services for South Sound team.
Walk the full 1.79 miles, choose the shorter 0.25-mile option, or skip the walking altogether and come cheer us on from the sidelines. There’s more than one way to show your support, and we’d be happy to see you.
