Did you see the movie “Don’t Look Up”? Have you heard about the impact that caused a mass extinction of the dinosaurs? This talk will introduce asteroids and discuss some historical Earth impacts and their consequences. There will also be a piece of a real asteroid you can hold in your hand. No prior knowledge is necessary and there will be plenty of time for any questions you might have.
