Olympia Speaker Series: Exploring Olympia History and Issues with Janine Gates
Are you new to Olympia or the South Sound? Do you want to learn more about the people and issues of our area? Come hear Janine Gates, a 43-year resident of Olympia, who will present a fascinating slideshow using historic postcards from the early 1900s, writing and photography from her blog, Little Hollywood, and excerpts from her recent book, Saving the Nisqually Delta. Janine will illustrate how much the area has changed, or hasn’t changed, over the years.
