Senior Services for South Sound is a private non-profit corporation governed by a volunteer board of directors, and has a long and distinguished history of serving the needs of older adults in the South Sound area.  Established in 1973, the agency continues to provide a wide array of comprehensive services to seniors living in Mason and Thurston counties.

 

Services and opportunities available include:

• The Senior Center Activities Program provides recreational, social, lifelong learning, and health improvement services.

• The Services to at-Risk Seniors Program (STARS) provides adult day and respite care for frail seniors and their families.

• The South Sound Care Connection Program provides care consultation and assistance with finding in-home care.

• The Senior Nutrition Program provides nutritious noon meals to the senior population in Mason and Thurston counties.
