Caregivers & Independent Providers Wanted
Recruitment Hiring Event
Wednesday, November 28th
Olympia Senior Center
Join us for a Care Connection open house. You'll learn about this unique caregiver registry and why both clients and caregivers benefit from a registry over an agency. Also, when you use Care Connection, the revenue raised comes back to Senior Services for South Sound to create programs and support seniors in our community. To register: 360.586.4491 or email Care@southsoundseniors.org.
One of the biggest difference in our Care Connection program is that you are not working for us! As a caregiver or indepdendent provider, you work for yourself and the client. As your own boss, you will earn more money and self-direct your schedule and salary with the client. That also means more flexibility, building a direct relationship with your clients and taking more control of your own life.
If you would like to explore this wonderful opportunity and service, please contact April Slee, Care Connection Director, at 360.586.4491 or email email@example.com.
We look forward to guiding you through the simple steps of starting your own busines as well as providing on-going training, support, and specialized classes!
Care Connection has new and improved marketing flyers for posting on community boards. If you are willing to put these up in places you frequent, please email us at Care@SouthSoundSeniors.org or click here to print one out! We appreciate you helping us spread the word about home care services vital to many in our our community.
Caregiver in the Spotlight
Ever since she was a young girl growing up in Perth, Australia, hanging out with people who needed care was very much a part of Sandy Lestenkof’s life. Many family members were in the healthcare field including her dad who helped build a facility for people with disabilities. “It was very natural to hang out and play with these people. My whole life revolved around being with them, so it was a normal experience. I found them to be more forgiving, nonjudgmental and truly happy to be with us.” To read more, click here.
